This mural was created for an entrance lobby at the Harmony Square building in Newark, NJ.
The theme of the establishment is based on musical floor titles, per example floor (1) is call Salsa, floor (2) Jazz… etc. Born and raised in a very Jazzy city (Montreal) I got inspired and wanted to Jazz it up with Miles Davis profile.
I wanted to bring some life to the new developing neighborhood, I felt very inspired and created a mosaic mural with and energetic and vibrant touch of colors.

I got inspired to make the Victoria Foundation front desk with some Cherry Blossoms design idea.
Back in the day Chinatown was located on Mulberry Street not too far away they have the famous Branch Brook Park renowned for their annual Cherry Blossom festival, it all made sense to go with an Asian flair.
